Resolve Marine Group successfully transported a large Azipod in the Bahamas for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The Azipod, which is a marine propulsion unit consisting of electrically driven propellers mounted on a steerable pod, weighs approximately 180 Tons. It was transported via Resolve’s RMG 400 crane barge, which had to undergo ballasting and counter-weighting to ensure the safety of the project.

Leading the efforts for Resolve was Project Manager Troy Caras, Crane Operator Matthew Gaspard, barge crewmen Wes Woessner, Pedro Gonzales, Desmond Newman, and Michael Bailey and boat captain Kim Thompson.
