February 2020, Resolve Marine Gibraltar mobilized response teams to refloat a sunken leisure vessel.  What began as a tow assist turned into a refloat when the vessel’s condition deteriorated ultimately sinking.  Resolve response teams enabled the vessel’s wreck removal after developing a refloat plan using Resolve’s Isaac 1874 barge with the Eliott tugboat.  To everyone’s surprise, two cats that were on board when the vessel sank, survived in a compartment with an air pocket and were safely rescued.  Resolve Gibraltar’s rapid response and technical expertise enabled teams to execute the refloat and recovery plan in a timely fashion.
